Glyn´s set up has been perfect for our staff parties at the Eden project. It’s obvious that he´s got passion for his work as his presentation is top class but it´s his menu ideas and the local sourcing which makes him a cut above the rest in delivering a successful barbeque event.

Our team is managed by Glyn who has worked in the catering industry for over 25 years serving up top class cuisine and beverages all over the world. He has managed restaurants in New Zealand and Australia, worked on Cruise ships in the Caribbean and served dignitaries on board private yachts in the Mediterranean and south East Asia. Glyn returned to Cornwall seven years ago and The Gourmet BBQ Co was born. He has created a great company that can offer you all manner of wonderful cuisine and help with all your catering needs.
New to the Team is Head Chef Daniel Baker who is highly experienced, talented and respected. Glyn and Daniel worked together nearly 20 years ago and have remained friends ever since. They share the same passion for producing food that is fresh, natural, tasty and rustic . Daniel has worked across the full catering spectrum from boutique high end restaurants to large hotels. He is now looking forward to the challenge of creating bespoke dishes for all of our clients here at The Gourmet BBQ Co.
Our approach is sourcing the best seasonal local produce, prepared with care and presented professionally all served to you in a fun and friendly manner. We can hot or cold smoke meats, fish or cheeses with a myriad of aromas, we also prepare our meats with delicious wet and dry rubs to enhance the flavour and provide that authentic alfresco experience.
The Gourmet BBQ Co have created our own range of relishes and sauces including ketchup, smoked apple & pear chutney and chim churri which we feel sets us apart from others as we simply love good food and good times. We are more than happy to satisfy any requirements and most importantly your appetite.
